G Flip hits the ‘Drum’ in Boston

Everyone loves a good sequel. So after G Flips The first headline tour of the United States went so well, last year’s Drummer Tour sees the Australian singer, songwriter, producer, drummer and musician back for more in ’24. And the rebooted run has gone so well that tonight’s show (June 4) in Boston has since been upgraded to a bigger venue, hopping around the city and landing at Big Night Live at North Station (originally scheduled for the Paradise Rock club).

The tour takes its title from G Flip’s album Drummer, and they are just as excited as we are: “We are adding more US dates to the Drummer Tour!!!! We’re going back to some of our favorite cities and playing in new ones we’ve never been to before. I had the time of my life on this tour and can’t thank everyone enough for making my dreams come true. I love meeting you all along the way, so I’m so excited to offer VIP tickets for the first time ever! I can’t wait to hang out with you all and sing and dance a little with you all at the shows. We’re going to make some bold changes to the set and give you the best show possible.”

Since we first hyped this performance in December, G Flip has released a new EP titled Drumless, featuring reworked versions of the album tracks. “I love covering and rearranging songs, so I took it off for my own songs Drummer but reproduced them and made them ‘drumless’,” they write on Insta. “I hope you enjoy hearing these cheeky songs in a new light. …Love all you beautiful people.”

Bang it.
