Paving work coming to Naticks North Main Street: What you need to know

News release from the City of Natick.

NATICK, MA – Paving work is expected to cover approximately 1,000 feet per day and will pave both the northbound and southbound lanes. One lane will be available through the work area. Paving will proceed from north to south, with work beginning at the Wayland city line and progressing south. The paving work is expected to last 10 days (weeks from June 3 to 7 and June 10 to 14). The work will largely take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

TRAFFIC IS AFFECTED BY THE WORK AREA. AVOIDING DRIVING THROUGH THE WORK AREA WILL REDUCE DELAYS.

The area between Rutledge Road and Gordon Street will not be paved until school ends for the summer on June 14.

Paving lines are applied after the paving surface has hardened, which takes at least 72 hours.
