LSU women’s basketball will play at Illinois-Chicago this season

Make it two homecoming games for LSU women’s basketball this upcoming season.

LSU announced Monday that the team will make a trip to Chicago to take on Illinois-Chicago on Dec. 19. Tigers forward Aneesah Morrow is a Chicago native who will play in her hometown for the first time since transferring to Baton Rouge from DePaul. is also located in Chicago.

This is the second non-conference game Kim Mulkey and the Tigers have scheduled that will bring a player back to their old stomping grounds, as the program announced a neutral site game earlier this season against in-state foe Grambling State in Bossier City, where sophomore guard Mikaylah Williams calls home to the Brookshire Grocery Arena on December 8.
