Children’s Theater of Annapolis announces new season

Children’s Theater of Annapolis has announced their new season of Tuck Everlasting: The Musical, Lewis Carroll’s Alice In Wonderland and Disney – Pixar’s Finding Nemo, Jr.

Tuck Everlasting: the musical asks, “What would you do if you had eternity?” Eleven-year-old Winnie Foster longs for an adventurous life outside her white picket fence, but it isn’t until she unexpectedly becomes entwined with the Tuck family that she gets more than she could have imagined. When Winnie discovers the magic behind the Tuck’s endless youth, she must fight to protect their secret from those who will do anything for a chance at eternal life. As her adventure unfolds, Winnie is faced with an extraordinary choice: return to her life, or continue with the Tucks on their never-ending journey.

“You don’t have to live forever, you just have to live.” – runs from October 18, 2024 to November 3, 2024.

In Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, Alice comes into view at the end of her long fall down the rabbit hole. It’s a more pleasant place for the audience than for Alice, who is desperately trying to get back home. She tries to get help from the Mad Hatter, the Rabbit and the kind Cheshire Cat.

“Everything has a moral, if you can find it.” – runs from February 7 to 23, 2025.

Disney Pixar Finding Nemo, Jr. is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar film Finding Nemo, featuring new music from award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and overprotective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his child Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters like the optimistic Dory, the laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

“Just keep swimming.” – runs from May 16 to June 1, 2025.
