Christian Watson, Malik Nabers, Bears, Packers, Vikings –

Bears TE Cole Kmet said first round QB Caleb Williams has begun bringing the team together for offseason workouts.

We’ve got some things in the works here,Kmet said via Bears Wire. “We are busy organizing all that.

Packers WR Christian Watson explained what he went through this season to get fully healthy.

For me it was really the asymmetry between the legs,Watson said, via ESPN’s Rob Demovsky. “It’s due to many things. Obviously, the problems I’ve had in the past with hamstrings, I’m not going to fully recover from that in terms of strength. I’ve been attacking the strength side of it, trying to get that symmetry back and it’s been huge for me. I feel really good. I have to keep gnawing at it.

Packers HC Matt LaFleur isn’t ready to celebrate yet, but did add Watson and CB Eric Stokes seems to be in fantastic shape.

Time will tell, said LaFleur. “You definitely need to get through the entire offseason (and) get to training camp. There’s a lot of volume in training camp, so if we can get through that, we’ll feel pretty good about it. Both he and Stokes look like they are probably in the best shape. I’ve seen them both.

Watson explained that he was trying to reduce the muscle deficit between his two legs, which at one point was as high as 20%. Now it has dropped to 8-10%.

I was clearly a bit down in my right leg (compared to the left),Watson said. “First, it puts pressure on the left, and the left has a lot more to deal with. And then two: if you try to have equal power, that obviously puts a lot more pressure on the person who isn’t as strong. So that’s been the most important thing for me because that also leads to fatigue. It’s a bad place to be, so that’s obviously been my main goal to kind of eliminate that.”

Charley Walters of St. Paul Pioneer Press said there was a rumor that the Vikings wanted to trade up from pick 11 to pick 5 in the draft to skip the Giants and select WR Malik Nabers. Walters added that if that plan came to fruition, the team would have traded WR Justin Jefferson.

Psst,Waters wrote. “During the draft, there was talk that the Vikings wanted to move from No. 11 to No. 5, not to pick a quarterback, but to get LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers, who was picked No. 6 by the Giants. If that trade had occurred, Jefferson would have been traded and Nabers would have been the No. 1 receiver.
