WATCH: Bournemouth fan channel learns about transfer goalkeeper Alex Paulsen

The Bournemouth Fan Channel Back of the net has interviewed a New Zealand guest who is well placed to assess how Wellington Phoenix goalkeeper Alex Paulsen could fit in if he is signed by the English Premier League club.

Sean Barker, a Bournemouth fan who played the Back of the net podcast, has lived in Wellington for 10 years and supports the Phoenix. He is also a former goalkeeper who was part of Bournemouth’s youth academy.

Guest at the YouTube In the show’s version, Barker says Paulsen is “a modern goalkeeper” and shares his observations of the young goalkeeper currently at the center of transfer speculation.

Reports suggest Paulsen is close to signing a three-year contract with Bournemouth following interest from EPL rivals Liverpool and Chelsea.

According to a British Sky Sports report, the initial fee is £850,000 (NZ$1.77 million), which could rise to around £2 million (NZ$4.76 million).
