Woman fatally shot on Edson Street in Boston

BOSTON, MA – A tragic shooting occurred at 36 Edson Street on Friday at 11:17 p.m., resulting in the death of an adult woman. Boston Police officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they discovered the victim had life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The woman was quickly transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Boston police are currently investigating the circumstances of the shooting and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
